Life on Cottage Hill: PAGES

beach life.

As I write this, I have a cuddled up Jonah-bear napping beside me. Beach life really tires him out... and outside my door I can hear Jackson and Audrey playing with all of their cousins.

We are at the beach for the week with Dan's entire family-
and it's the first time we're officially out-numbered: 10 adults and baby Ari put us over the edge with 11 grandbabies now, all ages 8 and under.

They're having the best time... it's what we call "crazy fun" with so many crazy monsters running around, hopping from the ocean to the pool and back, bunking up with each other at night and playing every game imaginable.

There are only 2 downsides:
1) I lost my phone. For the first time in my life. I'm pretty sure it's somewhere on the side of the highway, having fallen off the top of our car where I placed it at a rest stop while putting Jonah in his car seat. Oh well...
2) And I'm packing as we speak because I sadly have to fly out for one night/day to Atlanta for a work strategy session I'm leading. Yes, you read that right. I have to fly away from vacation for a day. It's nuts. Boo.

At least the babies won't miss me... they'll be far too busy living the beach life.

And I'll be counting down the minutes until I'm back here, hopefully with a drink in hand :)
