[catching up: the last of vacation'ing in virgina]

Still playing catch-up!
This time finishing up our Virginia vacation-

In between the constant rotation of beach and pool, we spent time at the antique airplane museum which features several hangers of planes arranged in time period and service arm (Army, Navy, WWII, etc). Pretty awesome especially if you're a two year old little boy who LOVES "air-pwanes" (or if you're a grown man who is an engineer- Papaw & Dan). We also visited the Landing Point State Park which marks the spot where the first explorers landed and founded the USA... pretty awesome to be there, imagining what they saw when they hit soil after months and months on the sea.

...playing catch-up.

...time is getting away from us!
Between summer fun and vacation work and coffee and adventures...
well, I'm behind, but here is somewhat of a photo dump to keep this little online memory space alive and up to date. Please excuse its randomness which basically rotates between everything 'summer' :)

virginia is for LOVErs.

We arrived home late last night from Virginia and zero out of five Engels were happy about vacation ending. I mean, honestly, why can't we just live forever on the beach, watching our sweet (and crazy) babies run wild and free? The plus side is that weeks like this, when we're all together are sure to be some of their favorite childhood memories with their very best friends.
