families who pray together...

If you looked at our "calendars" lately you would see that our life has been c-r-a-z-y. Dan is in the midst of a power plant outage so he's working 24/7 (3 weeks down, 1 week to go as single mom), my own job has been overly demanding, we have 3 crazy cute kids we're taking care of, growing the roastery business, the you-name-it.

BUT, there are these moments in between all that.
These moments that make it so sweet.
When we're on weekend adventures, or when we're throwing a sorry excuse for dinner together as quickly as possible to get to play time, the moments when I don't think I can stay awake another moment so we cuddle up in a pile of babies and watch movies together in bed and these rare moments we steal over late night dinners when Daddy happens to sneak in before bedtime.

Lately Jonah has been leading us in prayer.
And it's adorable.

So, Dan set up our phone camera earlier this week to capture our little bear praying.
There's so much I love about this video (not that Jackie is cut out of view...), his enthusiastic AMENs!, that prayer time gets a liiiitle long and sometimes you just need to rest your head on your baseball bat (b/c everyone needs one of those on the dinner table...) and how he so sweetly pats Daddy's hand in the middle.

Oh, sweet babies, these are the moments that make it ALL worth it!
